  2. Then we write an index page—listing all the tasks under each role.

  3. I’ll help you write the first system to show you how it’s done.

  4. Then you do one, and I’ll critique it.

  5. Next we train a team member, and we critique the system together.

  6. Finally (and here’s the good part) your team writes your procedures for you, and you just manage the process.

It’s best if they write the systems, because they are the ones doing the work. Plus, it means they are more accountable to follow the system if they created it.
